Chawal ki Kheer
Chawal ki kheer or Rice Kheer is a north indian delicacy . It is very healthy dessert which is eaten mainly after lunch or dinner and it is very easy to make . I have made a video on exact measurement on how to make the perfect kheer .(My video)
Ingredients:
1-Milk full cream : 1 litre
2- Sugar (Cheene) : 125 Gram
3-Rice : 100 Gram
4- Raisins
5-Coconut dried
6-Some Almonds or cashew
7-Makhane
8-Cardamom
Procedure:
First of all take 1 litre milk and pour it into a deep pan . Then take rice in different bowl and wash it throughly . After that add the rice in the milk and cook for 15 minutes on medium flame and then on low flame. Check the rice if they are cooked . Then add the sugar , raisins and makhane and cook for another 5 minutes . In other words we are reducing the milk in order to make it more dense. Check my video for required consistency of milk . In different pan add ghee and fry dried and chopped coconut and almonds . When they are little brown remove them from the flame and add it in the boiling kheer . At last add elaichi Powder and your kheer is ready.
Serve hot.
